BATTERY SCANS FOR VALVE PORTABLE RADIOS... VINTAGE RADIO WORLD...

Up B136 BATTERY B103 BATTERY GEC BB503

GEC BB503 HT/LT battery An alternative to the Ever-Ready B103, this battery is suitable for several post-WWII Ever Ready all-dry valve receivers including Model A, Model C, model C/A, model C/E, Model K, L26 Skyscraper. These excellent scans were provided for me by Bill Morris, otherwise known as BATTERYMAKER. Bill offers a service for battery receiver owners by constructing 'rebuildable' batteries to order. These are very well built items and really look the part. Best of all they can be refilled with modern batteries once exhausted!

IMPORTANT - please read before printing

The scans below should be printed out to form a box of approximately 200mm X 140mm X 77mm. The length of 297mm given on the two large 'face' and 'back' scans includes the pasting flaps, so these two can be printed full-scale along the length of an A4 sheet. The remaining end and narrow-side scans need their print settings adjusting to fit. You are therefore advised to make up a trial box and test it in your radio for accuracy of fit before expending time and effort in the production of a neatly-built box that is fractionally too deep or wide to place in your radio.
